Here is it - the first blog post .. this is pretty lame. Usually those that have to do this end up with an amateur blog .. but thats exactly what we are going for.

Where did the name come from? One day, shooting a low-budget rap video in Galveston, TX, I was in a reflective mood caused by hunger. At inopportune times, I would question the meaning of life while we were getting ready to shoot a scene "Its about patience, right?" and other unnecessary blabber. So Jake nicknamed me Proverb.

Later that day, I was asked to roll a joint, I had enough for 3 joints and I failed on all 3 attempts -- here is the summary:

"The 3 Doomed Joints (late night) " (May 12, 2007)

1. the first joint shall be given to the earth (cops came to the beach)

2. the second shall be given to the pocket

3. the third shall be unsmokable

Second interpretation:

1. the first joint shall be buried in the sand (cops came)

2. the second shall fall apart in thy pocket.

3. the third shall be unsmokable.
